Currently August!

I am linking up with Farley for this months Currently! I can't wait to see what everyone puts! :)

Both my fiance and I are obsessed with House Hunters. I am not so keen on House Hunters International, but I will still watch it.

Loving: Having a puppy has been wonderful. I love the fact that I have to go on walks everyday, Hello Wedding Body!

Thinking: I have way to much to do in my classroom, but I don't want to leave the puppy!

Wanting: My fiance works full time from 2:30-11:00. So, I wish he would take the next month to hang out, but sadly that can't happen.

Needing: My new school is huge on AR, and we didn't use it at my old school so I need to label my books. I have been procrastinating this all summer.

B2s: 1. Coffee.. I don't want to walk up in the morning without it!
2. My poster markers! I love writing on posters and making anchor charts. Without good markers it would be hard!
3. Morning work! I love starting the day with morning work, and I would be lost without it!

Now it is your turn! :)

  1. Hi Meg I just found your blog through Farley's Currently August. I too need my caffeine fix, but I prefer iced tea. I hope you get all of your labeled. I know what a chore that can be. I also love your WRITE pennant.

  2. Hey Meg!!! I just found your darlin' blog through the Currently! Love the colors and chevron! I've ALWAYS had AR at my school up until this year, it's going to be an adjustment for sure! But, you're in first grade, so I wouldn't be too consumed with leveling and AR labeling your books right away/before school starts. As your first couple of kids start becoming independent readers label those books as you go because they will read the same books for the most part. And most of that doesn't happen until October at the EARLIEST!

    So glad I found ya!

    1. Thanks Brittany! The teacher who was in my room before let me a couple of baskets, so I might just use those at first! Your blog is so cute too!

    1. I think because it crushes my dreams of living abroad in Europe. I just see how tiny of space they get for their money! haha Also, I watched an episode of a couple of boys that moved to another country to get lucky with ladies. Turned me off of House Hunter International! Hahah! :) I love having a puppy too! He is definitely spirited, but he is just reminding me of what I am in store for next year with 11 boys and 6 girls in my classroom!
