WRITE Banner Freebie

Happy Friday!

This weekend I get a lot of time to myself to work on things. My fiance is a best man in a wedding over Labor Day weekend, and the bachelor party is this weekend.  He is not a planner at all, which is the complete opposite of me, so I ended up doing a lot of the planning. As long as the boys don't find out we are good! ;) I have started to go through this cupboard that has housed all of my school things this summer. It keeps getting messier every time I go and dig for something. It started so nice and organized, and now look at it:

Soo.. I can't get the picture to load. I will try again later, but imagine a big pile of everything from your classroom in a small cupboard!

I just want it all out of there and put beautifully in my classroom, and since you probably can't tell underneath that top layer are boxes filled with things! So much stuff!

Thinking about my classroom, this morning I have been working on things for my classroom. My classroom theme is bright colors and polka dots. I just want it to be a cheerful place to be! I bought this set from the First Grade Fever to decorate my classroom, and I love it!

To match that I made this WRITE banner to hang over my writing center. I still need to laminate it, which means digging through my boxes to find my laminator, and add a cute ribbon. If you click the picture you can download the sign.

I hope you can find a place to hang it in your classroom. I am thinking about making some for Math, Reading, and maybe smaller versions for D5. Thoughts?

Wish me luck on the mess in my cupboard. I am just hoping I don't relax too much with the Future Mister out of town, and I get work done!

  3. Love the polka dots! They were the center of my classroom theme last year. My new theme is Under the Sea for my firstie's this year.

I am headed back into first grade this coming school year and I am very excited! Would love for you to head over and check out my blog! I am currently doing a give-away!
